The Liquid Advantage®
More Formula.
Less Tablet.
A Different Approach to Better Nutrition.
Liquid supplements give formulators more room to combine vitamins, minerals, botanicals and other nutrients into a single serving — without first going through the tablet-disintegration step. It’s an easy, convenient way to make high-quality nutrition part of your everyday routine.
Why Liquid?
Liquid Nutrition, Thoughtfully Designed
Without the size constraints of a compressed pill, a liquid format opens new possibilities for formulation and offers an easy-to-measure serving experience.
Formulation freedom
Room to bring compatible vitamins, minerals and botanicals together in one measured serving.
No tablet-disintegration step
Liquid formats do not require a compressed tablet to break apart before releasing ingredients.
Convenient servings
Measure a serving and take it directly, or mix it as instructed on the product label.
Everyday flexibility
A practical option for people who prefer a liquid format in their daily wellness routine.

Form Matters
A Different Way to Deliver Nutrition
Tablets and capsules must release their ingredients during digestion. Liquid formulations present nutrients in a fluid base, helping make measured servings straightforward.
The real value is in thoughtful formulation: selecting compatible ingredients, considering their physical and chemical properties, and building a product around its intended nutritional purpose.
Convenient, measurable fluid servings
Flexibility to combine compatible nutrients
A practical alternative for people who dislike swallowing tablets
The Science of Formulation
Different Formats. Thoughtful Formulas.
The dosage form changes the delivery experience—but does not, by itself, determine how much of a nutrient the body absorbs.

Tablet or Capsule
Ingredients released through a solid dosage form
Tablets generally need to disintegrate; capsules need to open or dissolve before their contents can be released. The exact process varies by product.

Liquid Formulation
Ingredients delivered in a fluid serving
Nutrients may be dissolved or suspended in the liquid. The formulation still has to account for ingredient solubility, stability and compatibility.
A useful distinction: Liquid does not automatically mean faster or greater absorption. Nutrient chemistry, dose, formulation and individual factors remain important.
Function-First Philosophy
Every Ingredient Has a Purpose.
Buried Treasure® has emphasized liquid nutrition since 1995. Its Function-First approach puts intended nutritional purpose at the center of the formulation—not simply taste or trends.
At Life Line Foods, purposeful formula development means looking at the ingredients, their compatibility, stability, quality and the experience of taking the finished supplement.

Questions Answered
The Liquid Advantage FAQs
Understand the format, the formulation and how to decide what fits your nutrition goals.
What is the Liquid Advantage®?
The Liquid Advantage® is Life Line Foods' approach to convenient, thoughtfully formulated liquid nutrition. Liquid supplements deliver nutrients in a measured fluid serving rather than a compressed tablet, which makes them easy to take and gives formulators flexibility when combining compatible vitamins, minerals, botanicals and other ingredients.
Are liquid supplements always absorbed better than tablets or capsules?
Not necessarily. A liquid supplement does not have to go through the tablet-disintegration step, but that alone does not guarantee faster or greater absorption. Nutrient form, solubility, dose, formulation and individual digestive factors all influence how nutrients become available to the body.
Why can liquid formulations offer more flexibility?
Liquid formulations can combine compatible nutrients into a measured serving without being constrained by the size of a single tablet. The possibilities depend on ingredient compatibility, solubility, taste, stability and the desired serving size. Our formulation process considers those factors together.
How should I take a liquid supplement?
Always follow the product label for serving size, directions and storage. Many liquid supplements can be taken directly or mixed into water, juice or a smoothie when the label allows it. Use an appropriate measuring device rather than guessing the serving.
What does “Function First” mean in liquid nutrition?
Function First means selecting ingredients for a clearly defined nutritional purpose and building the formula around ingredient quality, compatibility and stability—not simply around flavor or marketing trends. Taste and convenience remain important parts of creating a product people want to use consistently.
